SO!!! ME AND TOMO WENT TO ANIME EXPO AND IT WAS AWESOME!!!!
It was our first time going to LA and to Expo we damn near didn't know how to act! On day one we arrived bright and early caught a cab to our hotel and finally relaxed for a bit we pretty much knocked out for a quick second then woke up ready to explore. Since we got there a day early before before the convention started we weren't too worried about getting our badges right off the bat. We got cute the headed out into the beautiful LA air.
when we realized how close we were to little Tokyo we decided to walk there the weather was perfect and it gave us time to explore.
There were allot of cool shops there and the restaurants were bangin
plus I thought it was cool they had a place to rent Japanese style bridal wear.
The next couple of days we walked around the convention and did tourist stuff I got to meet one of Tomo's friend Michi (who was super fuckin awesome) and her friends and Fam we walked around Venice beach and went to a freak show I got to me my idol Morgue and fan girl out and everything
There were a lot of cool cosplays and I got to meet some cool people I pretty much lost my shit internally When I saw morgue >.> he said he liked my shoes
@_@
we sang till our voices were sore and wore our new gear in the process it was a whole lotta fun.
low key we jacked one of their lyric books cause it had a lotta original Japanese songs in it >.>
Dont judge me
I love Gundams and I found one that I've been looking for for years I got a little emotional and cried a little bit but it was all good.
Soooooooo quick story about this, we were stvring half to death and couldnt figure wtf to get. So we eneded up at one of the food truck outside our motel.
It was a mexican and greek fusion truck ......
Look i didnt think it was gonna be as good as it was
BUT IT WAS ON POINT NOOOOOOO LIE
You know I had to keep it shniggie and get alittle dranky drank on the side.
Now that I look back our motel was in the perfect location close to down town but far enough so it didn't cost us an arm and a leg to rent the room. plus all the cheap restaurants and corner stores around there.
Optimal location maaaaan
My friend Mika and her roommate did us the honor of taking us to a really good Korean BBQ spot. It was our last night and they made it that much more special
All in all it was pretty fuckin lit! (yes I can say
that this is my blog )
I've been on a lot of trips with a lot of people some have been great some have been horrible. But I would never trade that moment for anything and I couldn't think of anyone better to share it with
