So quick melodramatic post  today. I've  had alot of things planned for myself this year thinking this is the year that things will really change for me. Buuuut as time goes on I see that I'm  not accomplishing goals that I set for myself, and it's debilitating. I'll continue  to try and move forward  with my projects but my energy has shifted to a not so good place.

YO YO YOOOOOOOO

 posts are gonna be slow for a while. I'm prepping to move out so I'm pretty much spending all of my time at work tryin to make that extra MONEEEAAAAAYYY. Anyway Lori came to visit again !!!!  But just for the weekend for Easter. I'm excited to say the whole crew is hitting AX so were all focused on getting shit done before then so this post will be short. I do have some awesome news thooo.

This year at ACEN I'll be speaking at the black otaku panel!!

IT'S V DAAAAAYYYYY

AND LORI IS HEEEERREEEE

She came down to spend the entire weekend with us. We (Tomo Dan Lori Jade and I) came up with the idea to have a friends vday together since majority of the group is not in relationships, (yes i just told they business no i don't care lolol) We decided to be adults and get a hotel room which helped out with the whole traveling back and forth from home thing. the first night in we hit up our local hot spots ate and then went shopping we try to show Lori a bit more and more of Chicago every time she visits lol. It was an awesome night! The next day we hung out at the hookah bar and prepped for our GROWN UP DINNER (yes  we were trying to adult hardcore) at Banderas the food was amazing the service was even better. and who doesn't want to be serviced by white people on black history month.

I mean come on

we went back to the room changed out and then hit POPkTV one more time ( I mean come on who doesn't want to sing drunk in front of people they don't know?

On the final day we just relaxed in the hotel room and watched a lot of movies lol. it was a great time and we all were sad to see Lori go BUT WE KNEW HER ASS WOULD BE BACK SOOOOOO

it wasn't that sad lolol.

Style check!!

I always try to break the mold a bit in my Vkei style so I tend to incorporate dreads and braids a lot. Plus as a black person I want to also want to incorporate natural hair styles into my looks. I haven't had a perm since prom and I plan on keeping it that way I recently shaved my hair down which cuts down on a lot of styles I can do that may include the typical high low cut that most of my fav artist have. So I'm bringing back my dread locks for the time being. They are fake so I can take them down when I'm ready to but of course I had to switch it up with my color. Also hung out with some of my friends that live out in the suburbs.

To add to my list of shit I've been up to, I finally sat down and came up with the concept for my tattoo this one will be my first and will be on my hand.

ROUND ONE

FIGHT

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO the crew rolled out to round one a few days ago. I've never been there myself and I heard they had alot of Japanese style games annnnnd PURIKURAAAAAA!!!!!!

Walking in i was surprised at how big the place was

Then I saw the grab machines

oooooooh man

THOSE GRAB MACHINES THOOOOOOOO

lets just say I spent more then I intended on the grab machines.......

regardless they had a lot of racing games, they even had INITIAL D. Which is a huge fav of mine and is hard to findin the mid west!

they also had a a lot of rhythm games which ended up getting taken over by the regulars but it's w/e.
Dan and I also got to play one for the horror games and played it all the way through it was pretty crazy because it monitored your heart rate and it would tell you who freaked out at the jump scares lol. Dan pretty much freaked out the whole time>.>  The purikura booths were lit as hell.
I should have mentioned this from the get go BUT IT WAS JADES BIRTHDAY TOOOOOO!!!
So we bought pitchers of beer and bowled there as well as drunkenly stumbled into the karaoke booths lol. We got into a little sing off with the room next to us it was pretty funny.

STL HERE WE COME!!!

Visited the GURRLLLZZZZ in STL!

It was super fun seeing Moni and Lori again.

FIRST OFF THAT MEGA BUS THOOOOOOO

I've never taken the mega bus before maaaaaann that was some rachet stuff right there.

The ride wasn't that he most comfortable thing I've been on s and I've ridden with spirit airlines 

So I know how uncomfortable uncomfortable can get. But we got there safe and sound. I was super surprised by the college areas it was really nice the social scene was pretty vibrant. NOW WHAT REALLY BLEW ME WAS THAT DOWN TOWN THOOOOOOO.

There was like nothing absolutely nothing..... just hotels no stores not alot restaurants. we did find a Beercade that was really awesome so we ended hanging out there for about 3 or so hours. Of course we had to go see the new Blair witch, I liked it!! Of course we snuck our own drinky drink in AND OF COURSE TOMO HAD TO CRACK HERS OWN AT THE MOST QUITE PART OF THE MOVIE!!!! But it was all good I enjoyed the build up of the whole thing but they didn't necessarily have to reveal what the witch looked like. That's kinda whats fuckin up good horror movies for me right now. Stuff that has so much potential to be awesome ends up becoming cheesy.

Anyway we also got to hang out with loris friends and roommates. Also played reverse charades shit got real when my started winning >.> but I wont go there lolol. All in all it was hella fun and I cant wait to come back!!

Quick update post I've been trying to to expand on my makeup collection so I can experiment with more Oshare kei looks. I'll admit I'm not big on using alot of colors in my make up style since I tend to gravitate more towards Kurofuku kei BUT I want to experiment and try it out. So in short I've purchased 2 new pallets that feature neutral and bright colors BH cosmetics has been a staple in my make up bag for years. I received their party girl pallet as a birthday gift and fell in love with their pigmentation and variety. So while they had a sale I decided to purchase 2 pallets from their 120 series.
